If you have already listed volunteer opportunities with Volunteer Kalamazoo (formerly Volunteer Center of Greater Kalamazoo) you are already registered and do not need to register in this new system. Please take a moment to BROWSE ORGANIZATIONS to see if your organization is an active partner of Volunteer Kalamazoo, or contact us to verify.

Non-Registered Organizations

Volunteer Kalamazoo (VK) provides resources, training and services to support community organizations to grow and strengthen volunteer programs. Any nonprofit organization in the Greater Kalamazoo area or nonprofits serving residents in Kalamazoo can register their volunteer opportunities.

VK will continue to be your resource for volunteer referrals but there is so much more!

Registering to become a partner agency is quick and easy and, best of all, there is no fee* for countless benefits including:

  • Unlimited posting of volunteer opportunities on Volunteer Kalamazoo's website.
  • Any opportunities submitted to be listed online can also be included in our annual publication of the Volunteer Guidebook*. All Opportunities must be received by October 31 to be included, the Guidebook is distributed in January of each year.
  • Publicity for your organization and/or opportunities in our social media including Facebook, Twitter and our Blog.
  • Project calendar inclusion for opportunities that occur on specific dates.

REGISTER YOUR ORGANIZATION‡ 

‡On the registration page, there is a field that states, "Describe Volunteer Needs" - this is NOT where you enter in your volunteer opportunity information. Volunteer Kalamazoo requires a seperate form for each volunteer opportunity. This field should be used for general information regarding a general need of volunteers such as "Lansing based organization, opportunites available locally" or "all volunteers require an orientation."
